New lock for army uniforms
In addtion to new camo, the army combat uniform includes these design tweaks:
1. Mandarin collar : A new fold-down collar eliminates hook-and-loop closure and flap extension.
2. Upper-sleeve pocket A zipper replaces the hook-and-loop closure. The infrared identification friend or foe will be covered with a nylon tab on both
sleeves.
3. Elbow patch : Interal pads removed along with the hook-and-loop; double fabric reinforcement retained.
4. Sleeve pen pocket : Two pen pocket channels instead of three.
5. Trouser waistband : No longer includes drawstring.
6. Cargo pocket : No longer cord-and-barrel lock.
7. Knee patch : As with elbow pads, no more internal pads or hook-and-loop. Double-fabric reinforcement retained.
8. Lower leg pocket flap : Button closure added as another hook-and-loop closure disappears.
