• ☐ Chest Rank Insignia — correct rank, color, size, and attachment method.

• ☐ Full-Color State / Territorial Flag Patch — Reverse Orientation — hook-fastener / hook-and-loop backing with a yellow/gold border or outline; use the organization-prescribed size and placement.

Cold-weather items are layered according to conditions and your organization’s authorized uniform configuration.

5. Mission / Specialty Uniform Apparel

These are wearable specialty garments, not universal daily-uniform components.

• ☐ FRACU OCP Flame-Resistant Trousers — mission-specific wear.
• ☐ OCP Advanced Combat Shirt — when body armor/field mission guidance authorizes it.

• ☐ Safety / Protective Coyote Boots — for duties requiring protective footwear and when compatible with uniform policy.
• ☐ Other Flame-Resistant, Aircrew, Technical, or Protective Wearable Garments — only when your duty position or mission requires them.

6. Medical / Healthcare Duty Apparel

Medical personnel may have additional wearable duty-clothing options. These are role- and organization-specific and should not be confused with medical equipment.

Not part of this apparel collection: IFAKs, tourniquets, hydration carriers/bladders, medical pouches, and similar equipment. Those may still be mission-essential, but they belong in field/medical equipment collections rather than the uniform-apparel shopping list.

7. Final Wear & Appearance Verification

• ☐ Confirm your organization currently authorizes OCP/ACU for your duty status and assignment.
• ☐ Confirm coat and trousers are the correct pattern, shade, serviceability, fit, and approved configuration.
• ☐ Confirm surname tape, organization tape, rank, shoulder patch, flag, badges, tabs, and attachment methods.
• ☐ Confirm the correct headgear for the event: patrol cap, authorized boonie, watch cap, or other specifically directed option.
• ☐ Confirm undershirt, belt, socks, boots, boot blousing, and laces meet current local guidance.
• ☐ Do not mix incompatible uniform configurations unless your organization specifically authorizes the combination.
• ☐ Weather layers should be clean, serviceable, correctly colored, and worn only under authorized conditions.
• ☐ Specialty, medical, hot-weather, FR, and combat-shirt options require the appropriate mission or organizational authorization.
• ☐ Replace damaged, faded, unserviceable, or improperly fitting components before wear.

8. Female OCP / ACU — Fit, Sizing & Pregnancy Considerations

• ☐ Select women’s-cut or otherwise authorized OCP/ACU garments that provide correct fit without changing the required uniform appearance.
• ☐ Verify coat and trouser sizing together; do not assume the same numeric size or length works across manufacturers.
• ☐ Tailoring may improve fit only when it does not alter required pockets, closures, dimensions, insignia placement, or the prescribed appearance.
• ☐ Pregnancy / maternity uniform components should be worn only when authorized and available under current organization guidance.
• ☐ Medical accommodations, alternate footwear, or modified wear instructions should follow the organization’s approved medical/command process.
• ☐ Insignia, tapes, patches, flag orientation, headgear, and overall appearance standards remain the same unless your organization explicitly directs otherwise.
